However, in certain circumstances, we may need to remove ratings or reviews that violate our policy. Repeated or severe violations may result in the suspension or termination of a customer’s ability to leave ratings or reviews, or in some cases, the suspension or termination of their account. Decisions on whether a rating or review violates this policy will be made by the Codesellmarket Integrity Team and are final.

We reserve the right to remove ratings or reviews that:

1. Are not directly related to the item itself or the support provided for that item by the author.
2. Refer to support for items marked as “unsupported.”
3. Contain abusive, obscene, threatening, discriminatory, hateful, or otherwise offensive content, or infringe upon our Acceptable Use Policy.
4. Violate privacy rights by disclosing names, email addresses, purchase codes, or other confidential information without permission.
5. Aim to coerce or pressure authors into actions they are not obligated to undertake, such as providing support for items sold as “unsupported” or when the support period has expired.
6. Are used solely to request support rather than provide a review of the item.

Definitions

• "Item" includes all elements of the item, including any recommended or required third-party plugins listed in the item description or documentation.
• "Support services provided" refer to any assistance offered by the author, whether during the valid support period or as an extra service beyond the scope outlined in our Item Support Policy.
• "Unsupported" means an item that is either explicitly sold as unsupported or has no reference to support services.

Reporting a Rating or Review Violation

If you believe a review or rating violates these guidelines, you may contact our support team through the Codesellmarket Help Center by opening a support ticket. In your request, please specify which aspect of this policy you believe has been breached, including any relevant evidence you may have.

Please note that while we respect and consider all reports, our default position is to allow reviews to remain unchanged. Your report should demonstrate a clear violation of the guidelines to warrant removal. Codesellmarket reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove any rating or user’s ability to rate an item.
